Please receive the January edition of the Fireaway Club Newsletter.
The first meeting of 2014 takes place this Thursday, 30th January, Guildford bar, West Register Street, at 7:30pm. Socials are very relaxed, informal and held in the open bar area of the pub. If you've missed the last few, or not been before, the January meeting is an ideal opportunity to drop-in for a pint.
A walk is being arranged for February, full details will be posted in the Latest News page when finalised. A new Hillwalking page is being developed for the website and should be active in the next two weeks.

Retired colleague Jock Wilson sadly passed away recently. Jock served the majority of his career at Dalkeith fire station. His wife Margaret was the station cook at Newcraighall for over a decade from 1994. The funeral was held at Mortonhall Crematorium on Monday, 30th December, 2013.
3) Retirement Function:
Kenny Munro would like to invite all colleagues, past and present, to join him for a farewell drink on Friday, 7th February, (from 7pm) at Slateford Bowling Club, Lanark Road, Edinburgh. Entertainment will be provided by Evan Balfour's band.
