A walk has been arranged for Tuesday, 2nd October 2012 to the 'Falls of Clyde' and 'New Lanark World Heritage Site'.
The 'Falls of Clyde' are the UK's largest and most spectacular waterfalls (dependant of river level on the day!), the walk to reach the falls is an easy riverside route of 3.75miles which can be extended to around 5/6miles by adding woodland trails on the return route.
The start of the walk is from New Lanark village world heritage site and the plan would be to book a private group 2hr tour of the site (£12-15per head) and then do the walk. New Lanark is around a 1hr drive from Edinburgh (35miles).
