Nov 17, 2016
Please receive the November edition of the Fireaway Club Newsletter.
The last social of 2016 takes place on Thursday, 24th November at the Guildford bar, West Register Street, Edinburgh (from 7:30pm).
The last meeting of the year traditionally has a high turnout, so if you've missed the last few, or not been before, the November meeting is an ideal opportunity to drop-in for a pint and catch up with everyone. Socials are very relaxed, informal and held in the open bar area of the pub.
A walk, followed by a festive pub lunch, has been arranged for Tuesday 6th December in the Pentland Hills. Full details of the walk/lunch are available via the Latest News page and the Messageboard on the Fireaway website. Everyone welcome including non-members.
2) Request for Help - FIre Museum:
Colin Fraser, on behalf of the 'Friends of the Museum', has forwarded a request for assistance in packing/storing the museum collection into temporary accommodation prior to the permanent move from within the Lauriston HQ building to McDonald Rd fire station.
Any assistance Fireaway Club members can provide will be greatly appreciated by Colin and the team organising the relocation. See the Latest News page on the Fireaway website for more information, including contact details.
