Euan McBride posted this on the Fireaway messageboard as a reminder of the benefits Jubilee House offers to all retired members:
"I have just returned from a week of intensive exercise and physio at the Firefighters Charity Jubilee House.
I would like to remind or indeed inform members on this site that the facility is available for retired firefighters.
The reason I was there was due to me breaking my leg in August. By day 2 of my stay I had thrown away my walking stick.
I had used this facility back in 1996 to help me get back to work after a shoulder injury.I would say that the place has got even better over the years. If anyone would like further information about attending Jubilee House then please get in touch with me.
