Football Memories & Dementia, an initiative in conjunction with Hibernian Football Club, is a great charity which supports anyone who is suffering from memory issues
The group meet regularly within Hibs ground at Easter Road to talk football and about the 'old days' in general. All the evidence suggests these events, apart from being enjoyable and fun, can help assist feelings of isolation and loneliness.
The meetings are open to anyone, not just football supporters. So if anyone has a friend or family member they think could benefit from attending the group, you'd be more than welcome to come along.
